Two people were arrested after several residents called about suspicious activity on Feb. 17 at the east end of Fifth Street about three miles east of Cherokee. According to court records, Alfalfa County Deputies Gary Mast and Loren Nusser went to the location where they found two vehicles, a silver Chevrolet facing east and a red Ford facing west. Two individuals were on either side of the silver pickup and appeared to be talking.
