Mrs. Manning's anatomy class dissects cow heart

 


Dana Manning’s anatomy class is currently learning about the cardiovascular system and recently had the opportunity to dissect a cow heart.

While dissecting, students were required to identify and locate the structures of the heart, including vessels. Typically, students in Manning’s class dissect something for every system that they learn, and spend an entire nine weeks dissecting a fetal pig and a cat.
