NWOSU Artist in Residence Mandy Messina completes her last day in the six-week program with an appearance at the Graceful Arts Gallery in Alva March 3. Messina says the best part of the NWOSU program is the time to create. With free lodging and a free space to work, Messina had time to focus her creativity. She expressed appreciation for Kyle Larsen allowing her to speak to some of his classes at the university and vowed to spread the word about the program and the facilities available in Alva including the gallery.
