A Waynoka man is facing a felony charge for distribution of methamphetamine after a police officer witnessed what she believed was a drug transaction.

According to court documents, on Feb. 2 about 8:40 p.m. Waynoka Police Officer Misty Smiley was traveling south on Main Street when she saw a maroon Chevrolet pickup sitting at the fuel pumps at Jiffy Trip. The truck left the parking lot, driving east on Santa Fe toward Church Street. Officer Smiley turned east on Waynoka Street and drove to Church Street where she headed north toward Santa Fe.
