Rocketry Workshops available for area youth

The Alva Public Library is excited to announce Rocketry Workshops for middle school students. The library has been awarded a grant “supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) through the Library Services and Technology Act and sponsored by Oklahoma Department of Libraries.” The One More to Grow STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) Grant is to help develop programming in local communities to provide area youth with fun, exciting and educational activities and encourage youth interested in engaging in STEM activities.
