Storm Split With Jets

WICHITA, Kan. — Southern Nazarene traveled up to Wichita Kan. to finish up its last series of non-conference games before getting back into Great American Conference play this weekend. The Crimson Storm took the first game 8-2 but fell to Newman 13-3 in the second game Wednesday afternoon.

Southern Nazarene (8-20) jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first as Jacey James was hit by a pitch and came around to score after Mahina Sauer hit a bomb over the right field wall to give the Crimson Storm the lead. Neither the Storm nor the Jets (7-25) could get anything going in the next three innings...
