Woodward woman charged with financial exploitation

A Woodward woman has been charged with financial exploitation of her disabled father who lives in Woods County.

Amy Janel Crawford, alias: Amy Janel Meyer, 46, of Woodward has been charged with financial exploitation by caretaker, a felony. This crime is punishable by imprisonment for up to ten years or by a fine not exceeding $10,000, or both. She is accused of fraudulently obtaining $7,827.15 from Kenneth Leo Meyer’s checking account in 17 individual transactions between Jan 20 and Feb. 27, 2017.
