Tigers drop opener to Southeastern Oklahoma State

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Ouachita Tigers' baseball team (8-20, 5-11 GAC) lost the first game of their series at home Saturday to Southeastern Oklahoma (6-17-1, 5-9 GAC) by a final score of 10-5.

The Tigers led the game early, but five eighth inning runs from Southeastern led the Storm to a victory. Preston Speers had two early RBI for the Tigers, and Jakahari Howell homered in the fifth inning to pick up two RBI for himself. John Franklin Matros pitched into the eighth inning for the Tigers and was relieved by Logan Huneycutt in the midst of the eighth. Huneycutt took the loss for Ouachita. Rya...
