AHS: full of spirit

Each year around springtime the nervousness of cheer tryouts hovers. Although many people think that all you have to do is walk in and shake your pom poms, it is not. Cheer tryouts are very nerve wracking and stressful, mostly because you never have a spot guaranteed.

Cheer tryouts consist of a group dance and cheer and then a single tryout consisting of a spirit in, jumps, cheer and an interview. There is a panel of three judges that judge on spirit, tumbling, jumps, loudness, sharpness of moves and consistency.
