4-H teaches life skills to youth

To many people, 4-H means agriculture and livestock projects, but it is so much more. Two Woods County teens described 4-H and its value to young people during the Alva Kiwanis Club meeting Wednesday, March 29. Austin Rankin is a freshman at Waynoka High School and serves as president of the Woods County 4-H Club. Hannah Kornele is a junior at Alva High School, secretary of the Woods County 4-H and a 4-H Ambassador for northwest Oklahoma. Both began their connection with 4-H as nine-year-olds.
