Local guitarist Max Ridgway provided gentle background music at the Friends of the Library annual Chocolate Fantasy fundraiser Thursday night. Several local auctioneers donated their skills to sell off a wide variety of chocolate-based creations: Charles Murrow, Dean Goll, Kevin Theising and Steve Sterling. Co-Chairman Karen Koehn praised the generosity of the Alva community to both those cooks who made and donated the chocolate goodies to be sold and to the citizens who showed up to bid in the auction.
