GAME ONE:
Arkansas-Monticello shut down Henderson State at the plate to take a 3-0 win in the third game of the Great American Conference series on Saturday.
The Blossoms struck quickly with two runs in the bottom of the first on an error and a grounder that scored one from third, to make it 2-0.
Henderson threatened in the third, when Rebekah Teel doubled and Alyssa Dixon walked to give the Reddies two baserunners, but a fly out ended the inning with no damage done for UAM.
UAM took advantage in the bottom half of the inning, scoring another run to make it 3-0. The Reddies tried to rally but...
