Softball Falls in Extras on Saturday

 


SEARCY, Ark. – Despite outhitting sixth-ranked Harding in the opener and stretching the game to 12 innings, Southeastern was unable to pull off the upset in a 4-3 loss in game one before suffering an 8-0 defeat in the series finale on Saturday afternoon in Searcy, Ark.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 14-18 overall on the year and 8-14 in Great American Conference play.

In the opener, Symphoni Shomo finished the contest going 5-of-6 at the plate with a pair of runs scored, with Destiny Riddle adding a three-hit effort and Keeshia Thompson turning in a pair of hits.
