Syrotchen, Daniels, Barrett Star for Harding Men's Track at Southeast Missouri State

 


CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – With his first of six throws Saturday at the 2017 Drury Hotels Joey Haines Invitational, Harding senior and three-time All-American Josh Syrotchen sent the discus 195 feet, 4 inches. Syrotchen won the event by almost 14 feet against exclusively Division I competition.

Syrotchen's throw was his longest of the season and second-longest in program history. He remains the Division II leader in the discus and has automatically qualified for the national meet.
