Carolyn Christine Houk, daughter of the late Loren Houk and Florence (Turley) Heft, was born February 23, 1964, at Strong City, Kansas, and passed away April 2, 2017, at her residence in Alva, at the age of 53 years, 1 month, and 10 days.

Chris attended school in Payette, Idaho, graduating from there. She worked in restaurants and owned her own restaurant for a time, was hard working and even taught gymnastics.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
