Search warrant served at house in Kiowa

 


Wednesday, March 29, a search warrant was issued and the Kiowa Police Department (KPD) used it to enter a house at 515 S. Sixth in Kiowa, Kansas, that afternoon.

When asked about it by the Newsgram Monday, Kiowa Police Chief Steven Johnson said at this point he could provide little information as the case is under investigation.

Besides the KPD, officers from the Barber County Sheriff's Office were also at the scene. Chief Johnson said no person was taken in to custody. He confirmed officers carried numerous items out of the house in the span of the nearly one-and-a-half hours they were there....
