Woman sentenced for selling drugs after order from inmate

 


WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — A Kansas woman who sold methamphetamine after being told to by a jail inmate has been sentenced to four years in prison.

U.S. Attorney Tom Beall says in a news release that 21-year-old Kraysalias Lynn Bernhardt, of Clearwater, was sentenced Wednesday for selling a pound of meth.

Prosecutors say Bernhardt sold the drugs in January 2016 after talking by phone to Samuel Below, who was an inmate at the Sedgwick County jail. Below was storing the drugs at Bernhardt's home.
