Triples galore as Lady Eagles earn split with Eastern New Mexico

OKLAHOMA CITY (April 4, 2017) – Oklahoma Christian's softball team went from one extreme to the other on Tuesday afternoon at Tom Heath Field during a doubleheader split with Eastern New Mexico.

The Lady Eagles suffered only their third home run-rule loss in the past four seasons in the opener, falling 11-3, but rebounded to tie a Heartland Conference single-game record with four triples while run-ruling ENMU 11-2 in the second game.

OC (23-16) won four of five games this season against Eastern New Mexico (18-26), taking one in a neutral-site game and two at ENMU before Tuesday's split.
