Cancun Mexican restaurant to reopen Sunday

A young couple from Medicine Lodge, Kansas, Dario and Denisse Bravo, will be moving to Alva to reopen the closed Mexican restaurant known as Cancun. Their reopening will be Sunday, April 9. The restaurant is located on Oklahoma Boulevard, across from the Ampride convenience store.

The pair have a seven-year old son, Yahir, with "another on the way," said Dario.

Dario, age 25, graduated from Dodge City High School and worked at a Mexican restaurant in Anthony, Kansas, then more recently at a similar restaurant in Medicine Lodge, serving as kitchen manager first, and then later as front manager....
