Rangers late surge halted in non-conference battle with Newman

 


The Rangers hosted non-conference opponent Newman University in a match-up that was pushed back a day due to adverse weather and dropped the contest 5-3.

The Rangers hit the ball well but could not find many gaps in the defense.

Senior Cooper Stanley and Left Feilder Colton Krokroskia led the Ranger offensive attack with two hits a piece with Stanleys' hits being a home run and a double while Krokroskia had two singles. Multiple Rangers contributed to the offensive effort includingCasey Dickerman, Pat Delano, Jacob Long and TJ Kassner.
