2 big innings lift Lubbock Christian past OC in series finale

 


OKLAHOMA CITY (April 8, 2017) – Not that it was a pleasant experience, but Oklahoma Christian was reminded Saturday of the potency of the offense of Lubbock Christian (Texas).

LCU batted around in two innings while beating the Lady Eagles 11-1 in six innings on Saturday at Tom Heath Field, avoiding a series sweep in the process after OC won both games on Friday.

The series win against a stout opponent puts OC (26-17, 8-4 Heartland Conference) in the thick of the race for the league title. The Lady Eagles will enter their final nine games of the softball season – all Heartland games – just one...
