Storm Softball Swept on Saturday

 


DURANT, Okla. – Big single innings in each game by Arkansas Tech proved costly for Southeastern as it was swept on Saturday afternoon, dropping the opener 9-1 before falling in the finale 4-0.

The losses drop the Savage Storm to 16-22 overall on the year and 10-18 in Great American Conference play.

In game one it was a five-run first inning by the Golden Suns that left SE playing catch up the entire game.

A Keeshia Thompson single in the bottom of the first inning which would allow Destiny Riddle to score on an error was an answer, but it was the only response the Storm would have as ATU tacke...
