Kiowa's 33rd Annual Pioneer Days only one week away – April 21–23

• Friday hamburger feed; Saturday parade, steer wrestling, dance; Sunday team roping

Hopefully the weather will cooperate because the little town of Kiowa, Kansas, has some big, fun outdoor plans the weekend of April 21–23. It's the 33rd Annual Pioneer Days. You'll see cowboys on horseback in downtown and adults and children dressed like they were in Kiowa's early days. Mainly, you'll have fun. If you like watching steer wrestlin' and ropin' there's no better place to be Saturday and Sunday.

The weekend all starts Friday evening at 5:30 when the Methodist church men grill hamburgers at Progress Park. You can eat while enjoying entertainment.
