OKLAHOMA CITY — Southern Nazarene snapped a seven-game losing streak Tuesday evening with an 8-5 win at crosstown rival Oklahoma Christian.

Zach Birkle allowed just three baserunners in six innings of relief. The freshman allowed just two hits, walked one and struck out four as he picked up his first win of the year to move to 1-1. Birkle's two hits given up were all the hits OC had as it scored five runs in the first four innings on an error and 11 walks.
