Alva Senior/Ambassador Girl Scout Troop #969 made a donation to The Homestead as their gift of giving project this year from a portion of their Girl Scout cookie sales. Every year the Girl Scouts donate to a worthy cause. This year the older troop decided to help out The Homestead with craft supplies and items for bingo prizes. The scouts thoroughly enjoyed shopping and trying to get the most out of their donation for the residents.
