Southeastern's Late Charge Downs SNU

DURANT, Okla. — Southern Nazarene had a tie game with Southeastern Oklahoma State heading into the bottom of the eighth, but two of SNU's four errors on the day came as part of a 3-run eighth for the Savage Storm in 5-2 win over the Crimson Storm.

SNU had three of its five hits on the day in seventh inning as it trailed 2-0 heading into the inning. Southeastern scored one in the fourth and sixth innings to take the lead, but the Crimson Storm rallied in the top of the seventh. Dillon Feland drove home both runs of the inning with a double through the left side to tie the game.

The Savage Storm though scored three runs in the eighth to put it away.

Mike Descisciolo (0-3) took the loss after giving up those three runs on three hits in one inning of relief. Jefferson Harris gave up just two runs, one earned, on six hits in the start. He struck out four, in seven innings. Garrett Perez led the way for SNU as he went 2-for-4 with a run scored.
