Lahoma woman injured in collision with semi

This is all that remains of a 2018 Peterbilt semi after a collision near Hennessey Saturday. The semi caught fire, but the driver escaped safely. Lou Ann Crump of Helena was driving the other vehicle and was severely injured.

A Lahoma woman was listed in stable condition Saturday after her car collided with a semi near Hennessey. Lou Ann Crump, 62, of Lahoma was pinned in her vehicle for approximately 40 minutes and was freed by the Jaws of Life by Hennessey Fire Department. She was transported by Air Evac from the scene to OU Medical in Oklahoma City where she was admitted for head, leg, arm, trunk internal and trunk external injuries.

The semi, a 2018 Peterbilt pulling a tanker trailer caught on fire following the collision and was reported to be fully engulfed in flames by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP). The...
