Dr. Kay Decker, volunteer executive director of the Freedom West Community Development board, came down with some serious medical problems the first of 2017.
She spent several weeks recuperating from surgery in Oklahoma City. After that, her physicians wanted CAT scans every three months to be presented at her quarterly checkups.
Her doctor presumed that she should be scheduled into an Oklahoma City hospital for the CAT scans and blood tests. Decker insisted that the work could easily be done close to home at Share Medical Center, and save her many hours and expense in traveling. She told t...
