Woods County Excise/Equalization Board meets Wednesday

The Woods County Excise/Equalization Board, consisting of members Joe Shirley, Chris Olson and Bob Seivert, approved the transfer of budgeted funds from one account to another for several entities.
They acknowledged a transfer from the highway general fund to the highway personal fund in the amount of $5,000. This is to finish out payroll obligations for the fiscal year.
The board also acknowledged a transfer from the general sales tax fund to the rural fire department fund in the amount of $20,000. This is needed to cover the costs of the many extra days of fire fighting earlier this year.
