Alva High conquers state testing

These past couple of weeks Alva High’s students participated in state testing.

The Oklahoma state laws have recently changed regarding these tests. Previously, the law required that students must take and pass four state exams in order to graduate. However, with the new laws students are still required to take four exams, but are not required to pass any of them in order to graduate.

Even though students are not required to pass these exams anymore, each individual score continues to contribute to their school’s overall report card given to them by the state.
