Creature Concerns hosts ninth successful spay and neuter clinic

Pet overpopulation is a serious problem. Each year, millions of unwanted and homeless animals are euthanized in animal shelters all over the country. Creature Concerns Inc., a local 501(C)3 animal rescue organization, has been dedicated to ending the cycle of pet overpopulation in Alva and northwest Oklahoma.

In 2014, Creature Concerns began a partnership with Spay Way, a low-cost mobile spay and neuter clinic, to offer affordable spay and neuter services to our community. To date, they have hosted nine successful clinics in Alva, resulting in 821 animals being spayed and neutered.
