On Thursday, April 6, through Saturday, April 8, members of the Alva High School Speech and Debate team attended the State Speech and Debate Competition at the University of Oklahoma in Norman.
Fifteen students from AHS qualified for the state competition. To do so they must have been a finalist (scored 1st, 2nd, or 3rd,) in their event at the Regional Qualifier in Alva.
