Alva woman arrested after traffic stop

An Alva woman was arrested following a traffic stop. According to court papers, on Thursday, April 20, about 9:55 p.m. Woods County Deputy Adam Honeyman saw a black 2011 Toyota Prius with no lights traveling west on U.S. Highway 64 near Logan Street. He activated his emergency lights for a traffic stop.

When Honeyman approached the driver’s side to explain the reason for the stop, he smelled a strong odor of marijuana. He identified the driver’s legal name as Shana Fahey although she said she goes by her maiden name of Shana Hodgson. He told her about the odor and asked her if she had any mari...
