Man threatens suicide after domestic altercation

A domestic altercation in Waynoka and a bottle of medication resulted in a man going to the emergency room. He was later charged with a felony and three misdemeanors.

The case started about 4:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, when Woods County Deputy William Barnum was dispatched to a domestic situation on Nickerson Street in Waynoka for a male subject who was also attempting suicide, according to court affidavits.

When Barnum arrived, Waynoka police officers William Huffman and Misty Smiley were already on the scene. Huffman placed the handcuffed man, Roy JC Adams, who appeared to be very intoxi...
