Stopped for a tail light, pair face felony drug charges

A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of the two occupants on drug charges. According to court records, on Monday, April 17, about 3:20 p.m. Woods County Undersheriff Keith Dale saw a camouflage colored Chevrolet pickup leave a residence in the 100 block of Church Street in Alva. He recognized the passenger from a previous investigation and followed.

As the vehicle traveled south on Noble Street and slowed to turn west back onto Church, he saw the passenger side brake light was defective. Dale initiated his emergency lights to conduct a traffic stop. After following for half a block with n...
