Gib Clark was born March 2, 1935, in rural Byron, Oklahoma, where he lived until he was 12 years old. His parents were Raymond Clark and Blanche “Replogle” Clark. He was the seventh of 11 children. He died April 26, 2017.

A memorial worship service will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the Kiowa Christian Church. Interment will be in Driftwood Cemetery, Driftwood, Oklahoma.

Gib was married to Marcia Kile on August 4, 1962, in Enid, Oklahoma. They had two sons: Todd and Kipp, born while he was minister as a student appointment at the Baptist Church of Argonia, Kansas.
