Alva, Okla. – On Saturday, May 13, letter carriers in more than 190 cities in central and western Oklahoma will "Stamp Out Hunger" by collecting canned food donations from households on their route. In Alva donations benefit Alva Wesleyan Church in partnership with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
To help "Stamp Out Hunger", fill the plastic donation bag you receive in your mailbox the week of May 8, or any plastic bag, with canned food donations and place it by your mailbox on Saturday, May 13 before your letter carrier arrives. Your letter carrier will do the rest.
