A new district superintendent, James Miller, has been approved for the 2017-2018 school year for Freedom Public Schools. Miller was approved during a short, special meeting of the Freedom Board of Education at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 27. Members present during the meeting were Board President Shane Morris, Shan Wilson, Donald Simmons, Robert Babcock, Russell Reed and Minutes Clerk Patricia Dauphin.
