After loss at Rogers State, Eagles must sit and wait

 


CLAREMORE, Okla. (May 1, 2017) – Oklahoma Christian's perilous potential postseason hopes became even more so on Monday afternoon at the Diamond Sports Complex.

OC closed the regular season with a 15-3 loss to Rogers State, a result that damaged the Eagles' bid to qualify for the four-team field for the Heartland Conference postseason baseball tournament.

OC (28-21, 13-11 Heartland) did win its series at Rogers State (31-16, 11-10) and is – for now – in fourth place in the league standings, a game ahead of RSU and St. Edward's (Texas). But while OC has no more conference games to play, Rogers...
