Northwestern Oklahoma State catcher Arturo Castro received an Honorable Mention All-Great American Conference recognition for his consistent attack at the plate for Head Coach Sam Carel's ball club.

Castro finished second on the team with a .311 batting average while appearing in 33 games and started 30 of those contests behind the plate. Castro drove in 18 runs on the season, tied for first on the team, and also produced the most hits on the team with 38.
