MONTICELLO, Ark. – Southeastern forced extra innings but an 11th innings home run by Arkansas-Monticello would leave the Savage Storm on the wrong end of a 7-6 decision in the Great American Conference opening round series opener in Monticello, Ark.
The loss drops SE to 16-28-1 on the season with game two of the series set for noon on Saturday with the Storm needing a win and a win in game three to follow in order to advance to the final four in the conference tournament.
Jett Swigart led the offense with a three-hit outing, while Cade Clay, Luke Thomas and Ty Hanson each posted a pair of hits...
