UAM Softball defeated by SNU in GAC Tournament

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello softball team was eliminated from the GAC Championship Tournament after being defeated by Southern Nazarene in extra innings, 3-2.
Arkansas-Monticello (34-23, 26-16 GAC) shot out of the gate to open up the match-up against the Crimson Storm of SNU (24-33, 18-24 GAC) with a McKenzie Rice solo home run to right center field in the very first at bat of the game.
UAM followed up in the top of the fourth inning as Skyler Anderson singled up the middle to bring in Jordan Herbner for the 2-0 advantage over Southern Nazarene.
