Tuesday May 2, 2017

12:11 a.m. Reporting party (RP) advised of a neighbor across the street playing loud music and his kids were trying to sleep. Advised officer. Officer advised the individual to turn down the music.

7:58 a.m. RP advised someone had gone through her car and made a mess of it. She didn't know of anything missing at the time but wanted to make a report.

8:05 a.m. RP advised someone had gone through two vehicles and took some change and wanted to make a report.

8:27 a.m. Controlled burn south of junction of highways 11 and 38.

2:45 p.m. Grass fire 1 ½ miles south of junction of highways 11 and 38. Paged Nescatunga Fire Department. NFD advised it was hay bales. NFD advised two guys were going to stay onsite until it was out.

4:10 p.m. Controlled burn between Grady and Grant on County Road 600.

4:45 p.m. Served civil papers.

5:06 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop one-half mile west of Sturgeon's Corner.

5:21 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop at Grand and 12th Street.

6:24 p.m. RP advised his neighbor shot his car with either a bb gun or a pellet gun. Advised officer. Officer in the area.

6:56 p.m. RP advised his brother had passed out and fell backwards and hit his head on a table. Paged medic.

7:15 p.m. RP advised she was having chest pains and had history of cardiac problems. Paged medic. Medic with patient en route to Bass Hospital in Enid.

7:47 p.m. RP advised of a controlled burn at Highway 8 and County Road 580.

9:34 p.m. RP advised a grass fire possible from lighting. Contacted Woods County. Woods County asked for Carmen to respond for mutual aid.

9:56 p.m. RP stated there was a dark-colored Suburban or Tahoe with a heavier person driving around the block several times and who kept slowing down and stopping, then drove on. Advised officer.

11:30 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at at Jefferson and Highway 8.

Wednesday, May 3, 2017

12:28 a.m. RP advised someone had been in her vehicle; the glove box was left open. Advised officer.

1:48 a.m. RP advised her front door came open then shut again and she checked to make sure it was double locked. RP also advised her back door was unlocked. Also, RP advised back door was locked earlier. Advised officer.

2:32 a.m. RP stated several power lines were down east of Goltry around County Road 740 and Caddo. Contacted OG&E and Goltry Fire Chief, who advised Goltry was without electricity. OG&E called back, stated Alfalfa County needed the roads shut down 2 miles east and Garfield County's last 2 miles east of their county line. Advised Garfield County. Deputies on scene.

5 a.m. RP advised of water on the road way on Highway 45, 3 miles south of Goltry. Advised ODOT.

7:31 a.m. Cherokee Manor needed an ambulance for a resident to be transported to the ER at Share Medical Center. Medic with patient en route to Share in Alva.

9:15 a.m. Controlled burn 3 miles west of Burlington.

9:24 a.m. Controlled burn in the 100 block of Third Street in Aline.

3:20 p.m. ODOT advised a black cow was out. Advised owner. Owner advised he was out of town but would call his dad.

4:24 p.m. RP advised there was a man walking south on the east side of the road on Highway 8 south of Grant Road, in gym shorts and cowboy boots with brown hair. He was talking and swinging his arm erratically. Notified deputy. Deputy made contact with subject. Subject had just been bonded out and was headed towards Helena minding his own business and getting exercise.

7:58 p.m. RP advised a four-wheeler in Goltry was running up and down the Main Street and he was really loud. Advised deputy.

10:27 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at Comanche and Highway 8.

11:18 p.m. RP advised of a horse loose and in someone's front yard. Advised officer. Officer advised to call the owner. The phone number wasn't in service. Gave the officer the owner's address. Officer advised the horse belonged to a individual on Colorado Street. Officer advised the horse was put up.

12:31 a.m. Officer advised there were lights on at Butler Welding and was going to check it out. Officer advised everything was okay.

7:46 a.m. Major County advised a person at Cleo Springs called them about a white rock truck that was tarpped going north on Highway 8 and has blown two tires and was causing sparks and would like the driver stopped. OHP was teletyped. Deputy en route to Cozy Curve to watch for the truck. Deputy advised he had been all the way to the county line and had not seen the truck. Advised Major County.

8:43 a.m. Deputy had a traffic stop Highway 11 and County Road 660.

8:44 a.m. A man advised there was a washout on Comanche between county roads 690 and 700 around a culvert, about a foot wide. It had collapsed under him and he and his truck made it out. No injuries. He just didn't want anyone else to fall into the hole. Advised commissioner. Advised he will get someone to take care of it.

12:28 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at Cozy Curve.

1:11 p.m. Alarm company advised a residential alarm was going off in the 200 block of Texas. Tried owner and had no answer. Owner called and advised everything was okay.

1:44 p.m. 911 call, a lady had fallen in a yard and needed to be checked to see if she was injured. Paged medic.

2:58 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop one-quarter mile west Highway 8 on Greer.

3:47 p.m. RP advised her child had never come home from school. Advised she was on her way back from Alva. Officer advised the child had been found at a friend's house.

6:29 p.m. RP advised there was a male and female fighting in the street at Fourth Street and Pennsylvania. Advised officer. Officer advised one person left and went to his friend's house and his wife will be picking him up.

6:29 p.m. RP advised he needed medic. He had been drinking all day and didn't want to die. Paged medic. Medic en route. Medic with patient en route to Share Medical Center in Alva.

6:39 p.m. Civil paper were served.

6:50 p.m. RP advised he wanted an officer to come to his house. He had a male who lived with him and there were two individuals who kept trying to take his medication. They had done it several times in the past and also taken his debit card. He said the medication was locked up now but they have threatened to kick the door in at the moment they left. Deputy advised and en route. Deputy made contact with both parties and they will separate.

7:19 p.m. RP wanted a welfare check on a person in Goltry; RP hasn't seen her in two days. She lives with her grandma and sister but hasn't seen them neither. RP lives in Enid. Advised deputy.

7:46 p.m. Central Alarm Company called, said the alarm was going off at Timberlake Schools. Advised Helena officer was going to check it out, as the lights and alarm switch were side by side and it was the third time it had happen that day.

9:53 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop at Fifth Street and Kansas.

7:45 a.m. Deputy had a traffic stop west of four-way north of town.

8:40 a.m. Controlled burn 2 miles west of Jet and 2 ½ miles south.

12:50 p.m. Controlled burn 1 mile west of Driftwood on County Road 600.

1:27 p.m. RP advised of missing calves. RP called back and advised they were found.

1:31 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop out by the airport.

1:45 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop near the four-way stop.

2:13 p.m. RP advised of two pit bulls in her yard and wanted them gone. Advised officer.

3:58 p.m. Controlled burn at Karoma Cemetery east of Goltry.

5:08 p.m. Controlled burn in Aline.

7:18 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop.

8:29 p.m. 911 call, a male stated he needed an ambulance to go to the hospital to get his head straight. Paged medic.

8:49 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop north of Cherokee.

8:51 p.m. RP advised of a reckless driver, driving around Jet. Advised there were kids outside and they were driving very fast. Advised deputy. Deputy en route. Deputy made contact with driver.

9:22 p.m. OHP advised of a calf out. Unable to locate owner.

10:15 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at highway and Grady.

10:51 p.m. Officer had traffic stop at Washington and Massachusetts.

11:08 p.m. RP advised they had lost their horse saddle. Advised he left Alva and had travelled through Cherokee and Helena. When he stopped in Meno he discovered the door on his trailer was open and the saddle was gone.

4:48 a.m. RP advised a house was on fire north of the baseball field. Advised officer and Cherokee Fire Department. Also paged Burlington and Carmen fire departments. CFD advised the fire was under control.

6:54 a.m. Controlled burn south end of the runway of the airport.

8:17 a.m. Controlled burn on County Road 560 between Haskell and Hughes.

8:23 a.m. Controlled burn at the Lambert gymnasium.

10:11 a.m. Controlled burn on east Fifth Street in Cherokee.

11:10 a.m. Alarm company advised residential alarm going off. Called keyholder. They advised everything was okay.

2:25 p.m. Controlled burn 8 miles west on Greer.

2:29 p.m. Controlled burn on County Road 630 between Custer and Craig.

4:57 p.m. Controlled burn 1 mile west of Ingersoll.

5:38 p.m. Motor assist for a truck that had broken down in the road on Highway 8 north of Carmen junction. Advised OHP to send someone.

8:35 a.m. Controlled burn at County Road 590 and Johnson.

1:27 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop.

2:47 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop on River Road.

4:03 p.m. 911 call, a small grass fire was in the field 4 ½ miles east of Cozy Curve. Received a second call about the fire and an abandoned car near the fire. Paged CFD.

5:57 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop on Grand.

11:52 p.m. RP advised a possible gunshot in the alley behind her house. Advised officer. Officer made negative contact.

6:45 a.m. OHP needed an officer. Advised he was out with a drunk driver and waiting on a wrecker. Advised the sheriff. OHP advised of their location. Sheriff standing by for wrecker.

7:26 a.m. Deputy had a traffic stop 3 miles south of Cherokee on Highway 8. Deputy put up the calf and spoke to the owner.

8:56 a.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at Highway 11 and County Road 660.
