Burlington freshmen Kutter Jewell, Anna Motycka and Emily Burnet made their first appearance at the state track meet.
This year at the regional track meet, Burlington had four students place and three advance to state. Kutter Jewell qualified in the 110 meter hurdles, Emily Burnet in the shot-put, and Anna Motycka in the 200 meter dash. Stephanie Croft also placed in the 100 meter hurdles. On May 5, the three qualifiers competed at the state track meet. As freshman, these three students are still very young and have many more years to get that gold....
