Bison Capture National Tennis Crown

 


MOBILE, Ala. – Oklahoma Baptist claimed its first national championship in men's tennis Friday with a 5-1 win over Campbellsville.

The Bison finish at 26-5, a record for most wins in a season. OBU ends the year on a 15-match win streak.

"This guys team is like no other team I've had," said Coach Peter McCorkle. "They are so persistent. This Campbellsville team is No. 5 in the NAIA and defeating them is an excellent accomplishment.
