Oklahoma State University President Burns Hargis made time to recognize some of our Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence's Academic All-State and Boren Mentoring Initiative mentors. Throughout the academic year, mentoring requires a weekly investment of time and self in building a consistent, trusting relationship with a younger person. Mapes is a heroine for making this commitment along with her OSU academics, leadership and social life.
