Aline-Cleo teacher charged

Mark Duane Burdine, 46, of Aline has been charged with three felony counts of violation of Oklahoma statute via computer. This crime is punishable by imprisonment for not more than five years or by a fine of not more than $5,000, or by both such imprisonment and fine. In addition, Burdine is charged with three misdemeanor counts of endeavoring to possess controlled dangerous substance. Burdine is listed as a history teacher on the Aline-Cleo Schools website. The charges were filed May 11 in Alfalfa County.
