Throughout the past several months, area artists have donated refurbished chairs to the Cherokee Strip Museum as part of their fundraising "Chair"ity Auction. The auction is set to take place on Friday, June 2, at The Graceful Arts Center in conjunction with the First Friday Art Walk.

A wide variety of chairs will be part of the auction, including some that are elegant, whimsical, patriotic, colorful, musical, and in different sizes and styles. These chairs have been on display at the museum, but will soon be appearing in local businesses around the town square for your viewing pleasure.
