Cathy Mapes from the Alva FFA chapter won first-place individual honors in the State FFA Livestock Evaluation Career Development Event during the 2017 Oklahoma FFA Career Development Events at Oklahoma State University on April 29. She received her plaque at the State FFA Convention at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
