Lady Bison Hold Off Cedarville

 


TROUTVILLE, Va. – Oklahoma Baptist finished off pool play at the NCCAA Softball World Series with a 2-1 win over Cedarville.

OBU broke a scoreless tie in the fifth when Bry Flanagan singled, stole second, moved to third on a sacrifice fly by Miranda Garza.

Flanagan singled, took second on a ground out by Shipman and scored on a double by Kursten Bergene in the top of the seventh.

Cedarville got its first three runners aboard and cut the lead to 2-1 in the bottom of the seventh. Amanda Peterson recorded a strikeout, shortstop Shipman gunned down the tying run at the plate for the second out and...
